Great work. Absolutely no complaints about the characters. I have a couple of minor things to point out about the surroundings, though. Perspective is a bit off, not entirely believable. The books in the shelf are presented as if seen from straight front but the shelf itself is at a significant angle. It seems there is no breathing room for a second shelf back there. Also, the foreground object seems a bit flat to give the illusion that it's close to the viewer, perhaps should have a bit more roundness to it. But overall very good!

You are not a smoker, are you?

The way the cigar is lit and the light it is throwing on his pace is only possible if he was taking a solid drag out of it. But that is impossible if he is biting it like that. If you only bite a cigar and you are not in a process of inhaling it will not light to red and will not glow that much even in a dark alley. The only way a cigar would create such glow is if you suck it as a straw and inhale as a motherfucker. Hope you like constructive criticism. It still looks really cool and this is why you get a 9. Peace.

I'm an occasional smoker. At a guess I'd say a pack of cigarettes a month and two cigars a year. And this situation is possible if you knock the ash off the cigar. Which I've done although it's not a good move. It might be overly bright. eh. Mostly though this was a conceit to the composition. The light from the cigar added drama. The cigar was added after the face had been sketched out.
